Question Alumalook Dash Trim Pieces

Has anyone removed their three dash pieces and replace them with painted ones. I'm having a hard time removing mine....are there screws that hold them in behind the dash ?

Are you talking about the three thin strips that run the length of the dash? If so, yes there are screws that hold the strips in place. Below is a link to the instructions on how to remove/replace the dash stripe. You may have to "sign up" on renntech.org in order to be able to see the link & pics.

Glad I could help! Now, as "payment" for the help, you need to post before and after pics of your mods.

BTW, it is customary for newbies to introduce themselves, tell us about their P-car and post pics. You should be glad I got to you before LVDell did. At least with me, you are still breathing!

Sorry, Dell, I couldn't help myself..... again!

What are you kidding? My father always preached tough love. There's a reason everyone knows and likes you around here, Dell. Be you.
