They look pretty cool in my opinion. Where did you get them?

I'm seriously considering these. If I saw an arctic silver set on ebay I might bite. If I had a 2002 I wouldn't though.. I just don't like hte fact that my 99 looks the same as the boxter ;-)

I have to say I have been looking at them today in daylight and on black they don't look so bad

By the way I was only kidding about the crying part!! I like honesty and are secure enough to hear the truth....(OR NOT!!!) LOL.

I like the strosek ones, but don't liked the 2 hole things..the black ones I have follow the original lines of the headlines...just divide them into parts.....
I will take some pictures tomorrow...or so in daylight outside...

And if I can't get make up my mind.....a blowdryer and they come right off.

The holes around the washers are not to big they outline exactly....

Keep your opinions coming and the ones who have (kind of) the same mods keep posting them...love to see them

I had them on my 99 C2. I think they look good on darker colored cars (dark blues and blacks).

I am glad I am not the only one "kind of" liking them......it takes the sophistication away a little...but I don't know if this is necessaerily a bad thing...the 911 is a sports car first! I bought mine on Ebay,,I think I paid 80 bucks plus shipping and they fit very well.

And it makes the P look a little different...

by the way..don't bid against each other on these mods...soon as one auction is over, they put up a new one! I saw 2 people bidding and the units are not so hard to get....I will sell mine soon anyway! Once I make up my mind about the 996 '02 front upgrade....

Sloth - The car in the pic you posted looks awesome. How long ago did you sell it to get your Speed Yellow GT3? Can you post a couple of pics of your GT3? TIA.

I traded the C2 back in August 03.

So few people remember that. I actually think that the lines of the 996 headlights, both pre and post update, and the lines of the interior of the 996 are more consistent overall with the design concept of the exterior of the 996/997 than the retro round headlights and straightline interior of the 997. I like both cars, but, as a former architect, I thought the entire concept of the 996 lines held together a little better (i.e., smooth, flowing lines).

That looks quite nice Nicolas, I must say that the 996 headlamps have grown on me over the years ( at first I could not stomach them) but this type I agree flows quite well and it looks good. Its a personal thing for sure...

BTW fantastic job you are doing! Checked out your website and I nearly went blind I must say the pics with your 996 are dazzling!!!
