I like it the one recommendation I would have is to pull out the amber inside your lights turn signal and use the appropriate bulbs that will make it look even nicer. Renntech has a how to article on how to remove the amber and I have done it without too much difficulty but unfortunately I could not find the link to it.

All that really matters is that you like them. If so, then keep them!

The holes for the headlight washers are really big, they will also look better when you get rid of the amber. I have the Strosek covers on mine. I'm kind of ambivalent about them now. When the 996 came out I HATED the way it looked. When it was time for me to get a a new 911 I was all set to get a 993 Targa ( I had a MY82 SC Targa ). Then I drove a 996 and saw how slick the cab version is w/the windscreen, but still couldn't get over the looks. My salesman showed me some pics of 996s that Strosek had done w/the headlight bezels and I was sold. It was the first mod I did. Now I like the early 996 headlights ( even more so then the turbo lights on narrow bodies ), they've grown on me. Do whatever you like, I'm not into bling bling wheels and spoilers - to each their own. Anyway here's a pic of the Stroseks on mine.
