What is wrong with the Tip? I really do not fully understand why people are against auto tranny in sports cars.

Mpup, sorry for your back, hope it gets better..

The advantage with a manual is the feeling that makes you closer to 'being-one' with the engine and less of a playstation-like feeling i guess...

Tip is perfect and flawless, but sometimes perfection is not 'it'.

Remember we have age groups across the spectrum here...I driven a manual Pcar since 1979. First Tip was 02, and having just as much fun with down and up shifting with wheel buttons.

I agree, if the Pcar (or any car) was an automatic w/o "manual" shifting option then I wouldn't like it.
