Post New Porsche Owner

A few weeks ago my father crashed our 2000 BMW 528i Sport on HW 280 in a horrible rain storm. He was fine but the car was totalled. We were going to get a new 5er, but as soon as he saw this '99 C2 he couldn't pass it up. Anyway, I look forward to posting here and of course here are the pics. http://www.maager.com/album.php?action=thumbnail&AlbumID=57&PHPSESSID=17c911a954e68e681d70fc09 5c3702cf

Doug,
Yeah it was sad to see the 5 go, but the 996 definatly eased the pain. We bought the car from Carlson in Redwood City. The car originally belonged to a family friend and Porsche nut. He traded it in for a 996TT back in May and it had been on the lot ever since. Usually we would be skeptical about a car that hadn't sold for 6 months but since we know how well he took care of it there was no problem. We got a great deal and the salesman, Doug, was great.
