Cheers..... <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />

Here's what I have from europeancar, back in Aug/Sept. Very similar to last mdels-996's but w/ 3.8L 380 HP,0-60 in 4.6 sec, passing 100 in 10 secs, 300 lbs Torque,6 MPH faster than Turbo, Porsche Super Cup -style front bumper/spoiler, Modified rear spoiler/wing,ex outlets, stripped out interior version of current 996 a/c no cost option, Club Sport brings roll cage, lightweight seats & cloth trim.

I also heard the GT3 will be a 3.8L.

I am curious why on the Porsche website the 2003 GT3 and GT3R are still 3.6L?

The GT3 has 380hp and the GT3R has 435hp.

heres the link to the porsche website

<a href="http://content.eu.porsche.com/prod/cms/Vertrieb.nsf/gbrenglish/rennfahrzeugegt3cupmotor?OpenDocument" target="_blank">http://content.eu.porsche.com/prod/cms/Vertrieb.nsf/gbrenglish/rennfahrzeugegt3cupmotor?OpenDocument</a>

notice the motor is 3.6L
wonderng if the 3.8L in the GT3 road version is the C4's 3.6L block bored out?
Sounds like it.

I've heard that the new GT3 will continue to be 3.6L instead of 3.8L - hard to spin 3.8L 6-cylinder to 8k revs (lots of mass)...

I;ve just downloaded a 996TT 0-160mph dash-camera run that dazzled me and kept me wondering whether i will ever live the day when i will ever be able to really feel what this experience is all about..

..let alone a ride in a GT3!!
