So what is the best way to stow my golf clubs in my cabrio? Seems like my only options are the passenger seat or across the rear seats. I'm worried about irons and woods going helter skelter during hard cornering or braking. Does anybody make some kind of a mat or cover for the rear seats (to keep the mud off)? Will 2 sets of bags fit safely in the back seats?

Any tips would be much appreciated. Gracias.

 

Take up a real sport like running or so.

 

The best way I've found is in my BMW. I'm just afraid the bag or clubs will mar or tear the back seats.

 

I throw my clubs in the backseat and have fitted two sets before (laying down on the side). I haven't had any issues in terms of tearing or anything of that sort in the back seats. However, I do have a coupe.

In the cab, just don't pull 70mph corners and you'll be okay

I have a Coupe and I put my clubs in the back seat. I have tried it with the rear seat backs up and down. Currently, I have the seat backs lowered and that seems to be the better of the two options. If I were going to load two sets of clubs back there I would probably raise the seat backs to allow more room for the second set.

 

I put them in the front seat...they fit very well and snug and don't move around.

 

Front seat if I'm being lazy. Across back seat with seatbacks down for a nice, snug fit (have to remove driver and lay behind front seats). I used to put a golf towel between bag and leather, but now just slide the bag in under the windstop and DRIVE. Sometimes the trip to and from the course is far more enjoyable than the golf.

 

Buy a lightweight carry bag and throw away your trundler (its a pain dsimantling it to store in the front luggage compartment). Easy to get two carry bags in the back of a coupe with the back seats folded down.

If that fails keep your clubs at the golf club in storage. I have to agree that the drive in the car is far better than the drive on the course.

Mine fit just fine in the back of the cab, it's easier w/the top down,



but they fit w/it up too.



I prefer taking the boat to the course though.

Question: do you find you tip more at the golf course when you roll up in your 911 versus your "beater".

 

Fold down the back seats, lay a blanket down, take your woods out, and they showed fit nice without moving around too much. Also have a shoe bag for my spikes for afterwards when there full of grass. Keeps the carpet much cleaner.

 

In my cab. I fold down the rear seats and lay the bag accross (you will have to remove the driver).
I haven't tried it but you may be able to lay a second bag on top as well.
If I was to take a different car for golfing I would hardly drive the Porsche!
