How many of you guys are currently residing in the Chicago area? Or near a neighboring city (Milwaukee, etc.)? Thanks.

You'll have to autocross and DE with the Chicago region once you get your car.

Excellent! Nice to see some fellow enthusiasts in the Chicago area.
Alexander, I actually work in Merrillville. Ever get up to Redimac's? I haven't been there in years, but certainly have fond memories of speeding to New Buffalo for what at that time was considered the best burgers around!
By the way, my wife keeps bugging me to join PCA Midwest soon. Is it a pretty active group?

pca here is very active
rallies, autocrosses, concours, track days, some excellent beginner schools/sessions, the largest club race in the nation, social events, etc...
well worth the 36 bucks, or whatever it is now.

Rumster- We probably get to Redamacks about once a summer. A good friend of mine has a New Buffalo beach house (and an old 911 S Targa manumatic)so we stop on the way. Going back to Merrillville, you should try the ribs at Wagner's (in Porter, access via the 22B exit. AS
