Hey kilrght - You must live in Porsche land. I live in MD, and I rarely see a 911 much less a TT. We do have lots of Boxsters however. Aside from a friend who owns one and lives in Pa, about the only time I see a TT is on the showroom floor at my local Porsche Dealers. I think that the owners of TTs in MD must have them tucked away in their garages, and take them out only on special occassions.

I would say get neither.

You may be better off buying whatever 'street' car you prefer and buying a properly equipped (for safety devices.....cage, harnesses, seats, fire system, battery disconnect, etc) track appliance.

That way you have no compromises to deal with.

What do you guys reckon is the better option?
If you want more power AND better handling the GT3 is the way to go. While the AWD TT will offer more power it sacrifices handling with excess weight and AWD (IMHO).

after market (PSS9, MOTON,

PSS9 is fine,
but have you driven motons? i have two sets on two differnet cars.
if you use moton without monoballs, it's a waste. if you put monoballs on it after a year of use the teflon in there will wear out and you will hear some ungodly noises. it's so bad that i am buying another identical car, one with moton for track one without for street.

just my two cents.
