Was on the freeway today, and the traffic was going about 5 miles an hour, you know the stop and go situation, it was so refreshing to just hit the button while moving and say ahhhhhhhhhh clear blue sky above!!!!

Lucky bastard!

I am sure you guys heard about the snow storm that hit the east coast and mid-atlantic. We only got about 9" here in Washington, D.C. but New York got hit worse. Anyway, I haven't installed the SmartTOP yet since my garage is not climate controlled and I don't like operating the top when the temperature is below 50 degrees. Hopefully it gets warm again soon.

Enjoy your summer, er, winter!

Thanks
Sorry to hear about the 9", not being able to drive the Porsche when you want is like not being able to have sex.

What are the dangers of operating the top below 50 but above 40 degrees?

dell, admit it, it's U

but seriously, they will increase their price again when spring comes, because their products gain faith from our consumers along the way.

pl.....I wish I could take all the credit but all I really did was organize the buy. Maybe I was able to talk it down a few bucks. I am still amazed that the price has risen so sharply over the last year.

How about if someone has a suggestion for a group buy they create a new thread e.g.:

Group Buy Suggestion: PART

and include a poll in it with a YES / NO / MAYBE vote.

That way we can better track what has some group consensus behind it.

let's do a new 997 turbo group buy and all fly to stuttgart to pick them up and drive them back to the USA.....by the time I got the money together someone will have build a bridge...and the Panamera Porsche will be a good used buy....especially the way I have been spending money on all the mods!
and there will be a 911 999 or 1000 tri turbo riding around.

Look at all of the money you will "save" by getting a 997 Turbo. There wouldn't be anything to mod, right? Yeah..... "and the check is in the mail!"
