I rubbed against a curb with my 18" Turbo Look alloy wheel and, as a result, have a 3" rash on the edge of the wheel. Does anyone know of firm in the Chicago area that does this type of repair?

Sorry to hear that. I used to do that on my Bimmer a lot for some unknown reason. I don't know exactly where you could take it to get it fixed here in Chicago. FWIW, here's a link to the PCA-chicago recommended shops. Perhaps contacting one of them might be of help:

Sorry to hear about your rim. It took me forever to find a place to do mine in Chicago land. They'll remove your tire and fix it for $ 109 each, no matter how much damage there is. If there is just a little bit, It's still $ 109. They even do 3 piece rims!! You can talk them down a little if you pay cash.
