Default CEL & hesitation in low Rpm's?

My CEL will come on intermittley, usually once or twice a day and also I have intermittent hesitation in low RPM's. Could this just be plugs? I have 52,000 miles and havent changed the plugs yet. I did just clean the the MAF.

Get someone to read a code with an OBDII code reader.Autozone will apparently do this for free at their stores.

Sounds like a MAF issue but yes go to Autozone as stated earlier.. Someone here can tell you what the codes mean but often times the codes will read to be everything else but the MAF.

Spark plugs causing a CEL, that's a first? Is this normal for Porsche? What happened at Autozone?

I didnt think the CEL light was caused by plugs, thats why I think it may be plugs, no CEL light for 2 days. Didnt go to Autozone, because no light anymore.

I think you can still get a code read out and it will point you in the right direction. Is it still rough idle or hesitating?

Bad plugs can cause a CEL because it causes that side of the engine to run rich. The O2 sensor tries to lean out the mixture and reaches its limit. Result is a CEL.
