Looking for help/info- Have seen posted on European porsche site & over the weekend in Road & track- HP increase for new '02 911's. 340 HP for normally asperated refered to as "motor kit".
Spoke with my New dealer today and they say it sounds like it may be offered after July as option/.
Does anyone know how to order one today??
Thanks

Looks like Mr. Newman is going to have some fun come July. How much of the order list is factory and how much aftermarket additions by you? Did you read the recent Pano article on 996 suspension upgrades?

Ed, Road & Track didn't give any performance info -just another teaser blurb implying that it's available.(They gave prices-appx. $8500?)
It started me dreaming (again) for a little more grunt,(my new 996 is great the way it is-but..) since the Porsche Euro site also gave prices & strongly implied that these "motor kits" were available directly form Porsche as add ons for both Turbo & non Turbos 911's.
The site also had prices, but more like 10/11K? for the normally aspirated 996.
I'll keep checking the site for news on upgrades-
In the mean time Drivers Ed w/ the mear 320Hp will keep me quite occupied.

JBH- yes I've read the suspension tests. I'd also like to hear how things shake out w/ the new HP/Torque increase affecting the suspenion on this years 911's. That's why I'm waiting before I do anything to my suspension.
Time for another topic?
