1999 996 build dates?

What production date did Porsche make the switch from early to late 1999 996 cars? (clear maps, drive by wire, etc.)

99's produced after the summer break,starting in september, have the clear headlights and better radio. The 2000 and on cars have the e gas. Perry

My 996 was manufactured in July 99 and it has the clear tailights...it has a Becker radio with in dash CD..however it was replaced by the dealer because the buttons and ***** had paint that was peeling

I am not sure about the egas but my 1999 996 was a september production car in 1998. The car did have the clear tail lights and the clear headlights.
