Ideally I'd like just a faceplate, but I'm going to go and assume that nobody will sell me one, so I guess I need the whole stereo.

It will be going into a 99 C2 Cabrio with Hi-Fi.

Anybody?

I have a CR220, which is the cassette version. I think the faceplates are interchangable, but it wouold say CR220 rather than CDR220. I am installing a CDR220 in my car replacing the CR220. After I complete the install I will swap the faceplates and see if they work (unless someone here already knows they aren't interchangable). I will seel the CR220 for $150+ shipping. It is a factory replacement the dealer put in abount 2 years ago when the original went bad. Let me know if you are interested.

This weekend. Also, check with becker (do a search on "becker" then look for becker america) they may sell just the faceplate. I will let you know if mine seems to work after the install.

 

i actually managed to scoop just a faceplate for $25 on ebay, score!
