Sorry but I wasn't nearly as quick on the draw with the camera phone as I was last week.

 

Looking at the pic now, I just realized it has to be the worst pic I have ever taken! Regardless, you should have heard that thing sing as he "pulled" away.

Once again, I was in the wrong car. This time the Pepper. I really need to start drving the 996 more.

Sounds like half-million dollar cars are a dime a dozen in your neck of the woods. Wayne Newton wasn't driving this one, was he?

And to think I complimented you about how quick on the draw you were last week with the SLR pic. Looks like you need to brush up on your quick-draw technique from the cell phone holster. Either that or the CGT is a hell of a lot faster than the SLR. The CGT does sound nice when it accelerates quickly doesn't it!

I missed the Lambo and Bently CGT since I left my phone at home on another trip a couple days ago.

It was probably one of the Blue Man Group members coming back from a battery run at Costco...

 

Hate to throw the wife under the bus but she had my phone in her purse and I was frantically yelling...PHONE PHONE PHONE....get me the &#*&@%#$% PHONE!!!!!

From now on, phone stays right within reach ALWAYS on camera mode.

I promise I will have better pics at my next opportunity.

HEre's a shot recently when I was in cali...

 

The other day when I was at the dealer dropping my car off (lets not talk about that) they had a brand new CGT on the showroom floor with a big sign that says "DO NOT TOUCH." Black on black - not the best color for that model if you ask me - kidna hides the lines. I LOVE the silver.

Anyway, I said to the sales guy, "How am I going to buy this thing tonight without touching it?" He didn't even look up from his paper. He said he had driven it and it was INSANE. I just stood there drooling like some 12 year old kid. Sad. Maybe if I sell the house and live in it we can get one . . .

 

I was at the dealer looking around and the salesman pulled the ropes away and let me sit in the CGT...I didn't even ask. Pulling up in a Porsche gives you some credibility...nobody approached me when I was in my F150...

 

having a carerra gt just sitting in traffic like that, doesn't seem to look right... it's almost as if that car wasn't meant to stop :>

 

Good point Bob. That CGT at a stand still is breathtaking but needs to sing to us at WOT!!!!

 

A very nice gentleman from FL drove his CGT to the Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta this summer. PCA sponsorred the Porsche Platz and we got to take a few parade laps around the track the evening before the race. Guess who got to lead the pack!
