I am considering installing a remote control for my 2001 996 top. I have the remote control unit from a Viper System for switching control. I need to find the correct pins to hook it up to. I purchased the shop manual for the 996.

Interestingly either I am not finding the right pins or the translation is really bad on the wiring diagram (Model 98 Sheet 9).

I found the "Door Lock Cylinder Close" on the control unit, but can not find a corresponding Open. When I look at the "Key Contact" on what looks to be the door lock connector, Close connects with "Door Lock Cylinder Close" on the control unit and Up on the door lock connector (which I assume to be open) connects with "Unprime door". Is Unprime Door the same as Door Lock Cylinder Open?

I suppose I could just hunt and peck with a VM, but would rather not.

Anyone attempted such an installation?
