2000 C2 Cab OK Price???
I need some advice....
I have a chance to get a 2000 C2 Cab...tip..18in wheels..stereo...sport seats..covers,hard top,bra etc.
This car has 5000 miles yup only 5000 miles. I know the guy selling it well and know the car. His 4th car...he has some family/$ issues requiring the sale.He is very meticulous!!!
He wants $58,500...that is the bottom line.

Sounds pretty cheap. I paid $94,000 for my 2000 C2 Cab (with lots of options) new. It has 28,000 miles on it now.
Still, have a mechanic check it out, make sure there is no oil under the car. It is still under warranty, too, so I'd go for it.

Its very clean...We are having a porsche specialist look at it.
Thanks...I feel it is a good deal but it is still a whole lot of money!!!
Also read alot about the "soft" resale market...
Not that I plan to flip it but still want a good deal!!

I paid $61K for my 2000 c2 cab about a month ago, with 24K miles. And I thought I got a good deal! Sounds like you should go for it. I also was looking for a particular car - needed PSM, 6 speed and I wanted silver/black. Sounds like I probably paid a bit more than I should of...

Congratulations, you've just stolen your first Porsche. Do the math. When new, without a single option, it listed around $74,000. Take a dealer discount (if you could get one on a cabriolet.) Then add the taxes, etc. He's got to have been into the car for at least $75,000 (probably 80 to 85). He drives it and it's technically 3 years old. At a minimum of $16,000 in depreciation (probably 20 to 25) you've saved a bundle and have a car that for all intents and purposes will drive like new. Enjoy!
