C4S OEM Aerokit
Just picked up an oem aerokit for around 2k(list for 7k), amazing oem quality down to the last detail and engraved 996 pn. Do yourself a favor, before you jump on a inexpensive/untested aftermarket spoiler spend some time looking for an oem version, well worth the wait. Been there, done that, got the t shirt, don't want another! Will post pics after it's painted.

Great find! How much more to get it painted? Are you going to do the install?
Good luck and keep us posted.
I really wanted the OEM Carrera wing and I was lucky to find the 996 I wanted with the OEM wing and rocker panels already on. However, I do like the full aerokit better.

Got it from a guy on ebay, a 6speeder, I had been looking for about a yr, just couldn't fork up 7k. The kit includes a wing/decklid/harness/3rd light blockout and front lip. The quality is pure oem, so much different that the aftermarket one I had and got rid of last yr. I don't mean to slam Misha, I had his wing on my car for a while, I thought his quality was good, but this is great. I think I'll have Diamond paint it over in Huntington. Yes, I'll install it myself, very easy.

Look at DPS Porsche Parts a/k/a departstop there on ebay with a oem GT3 bumper for 950. I picked up the bumper and oem skirts from them I believe the skirts were $720. Brandywine I believe has the skirts for 640 but since I would pay no additional shipping for the skirts had DPS send both. Chris where is diamond in Huntington I was going to use Empire Auto on Jericho Tpke. in Huntington Station i've known the owner who is also a Porsche owner for a while.

Yep, next to TKX racing, formerly RPM. they painted a wing for me in the past that needed a ****load of work, 400$ looked perfect when done, this one needs zero work.
That's the aerokit!

wait a minute....
you got rid of a gt2 look wing because it was too flashy but now you get the oem aero package which is just as bling/flashy, just because it's oem? seems like you still got the t shirt but just not a knock off. you could've kept the gt2 wing and just got the aerokit lip.
BTW is your kit the same "aerokit" for the TT. that kit is sweeeeet!
i agree 100%, nothing beats the quality of oem. this might not hold true for the new TT though. after seeing spy shots of it who cares if it has oem quality when it is BUTT UGLY thank god for the aftermarket
i made the mistake of buying an aftermarket taco wing and it sucked. i am glad i am getting an oem one from a fellow rennlister/6speeder.

It actually sits considerably lower(3") than the misha GT2 wing and at a completely different angle(about 7 degrees), not as 'in your face', blends with the lines of the car much better, more refined, imo. Also, there is a lot of RD that goes into the factory aerokit, I found the GT2 wing to be a little squirrley at speed, it got better with a TT lip but at 140mph at the track I'd feel better with an oem/tested peice. Bottom line, nothing beats oem. I knew you would chime in sooner or later!
