Post "911" Interior Emblem

I was looking for a nice silver 911 emblem to place on my console between the two heated seat buttons. The Boxter S has a nice logo there and I was wondering if there was anyting that for an 02 911. I think the Milenium eddition may have had something there? Any ideas, suggestions?

You mean like these. The Silver one you get on eBay from time to time.

The second one is mine and I'm putting it on eBay myself. It's factory carbon fiber with a "PORSHCE" decal.

Don,

That's basically what I'm looking for. I don't need the actuall plate, just the "911"
I'll contact prestigeparts.

I already asked Keith at Prestige Parts if he would sell just the black "911" decal because I couldn't find one anywhere. He wouldn't, but was very willing to sell me the complete batwing. Actually it's nice looking. He must put a coat of clearcoat after he applies the decal. I ordered one w/o the holes and he sent the wrong one. Just waiting for replacement.

Is the Decal black or silver. In the picture it looks like raised silver letters. My interior is black and was looking for silver.

Didn't the Millenium eddition have 911 letter on teh lower console. I can't remember and I can't find a picture.

Yes the Millenium has the 911 logo on the batwing, also on rear.

It'd be nice to get a 911 on the car somewhere. I couldn't get the link to work Don, I'd be interested in the badge only as my batwing is wood w/heated seats.

Hi, I have been looking for something like that also. Don, could you elaborate where I can order such item (911 silver emblem, either by itself or attached to the bat-thing: mine does not have heated seats)? Or can the millenium emblem be ordered from the dealer?
Many thanks.

BTW, I noticed how neat the GT3 logo fits in the middle of the tach on the new GT3 and I thought that would be the perfect place to display the 911 emblem on the 996. My 01 996 does not say 911 anywhere and it should.

I just got mine from keith at <a href="http://www.prestigepart.co.uk" target="_blank">www.prestigepart.co.uk</a> last week. I think it looks great although the flash from the camera drowns out the whole picture... <img src="http://gallery.rennlist.com/albums/albun61/interior2.sized.jpg" alt=" - " />

CG, the 911 is black. Becuase it is a decal that has a clearcoat over it, it's raised up a little bit and the flash caused a shadow. It looks better in real life.

I think you can contact him thru ebay. I don't know why the link didn't work. Do a search on "Porsche 996 Silver" and you'll find some of his items. The silver speaker grills are his.

This link may work.
