Post Washing car with Airetek intake installed(cone filter)

Just wanted to know if it's ok to wash the car which I installed the Airetek intake with cone element. Looks like well protected if lid is closed but what does happen if just a little water contaminate the cone? Regards. Mike

If you get little water in there, that shouldn't be a problem, however, if you're worried, wrap the thing in a plastig bag when you wash it (remember to remove it when you leave! )

Thanks for your response. I just hope I DO REMEMBER to remove the plastic wrap after the wash. If I forget my baby will be singing Paul McCartney's "Silly Hate Songs". Regards. Mike
