Does anyone know of any, custom or trimable to a good fit, rubber floor mats for a 996 with Bose sound (makes a difference in mat shape) & where to get them?

Thanks,

Sorry can't help, but curiosity got the better of me. How does rubber mats and shape help with Bose sound?.

MacNeil WeatherTech® ClassicTM Premium Rubber Mats

Have them fax a sheet that shows the dimensions and then measure for your self. They first set they recommended was to narrow. The set that I selected need triming around the gas pedal and foot rest, they passenger said works with no trimmimg. The Black with red trim looks great in my 01 C4. One note the mats do wear groves in the removable mats, however that is better them groves in the carpets. Just keep something between the rubber mats and your carpet.

Palting,

Targa and Cabriolet w/ Bose Sound System has a different mat shape than on other 996's & gets its own part numbers in the Tequipment catalogue. I think that the issue is footwell shape related not sound related.

C4FDR,

Thanks for the suggestion of the MacNeil WeatherTech® ClassicTM Premium Rubber Mats and the heads-up on the tendancy of the mats to groove the surface below. I'll definitely check them out.
