I got a quote from carnewal for the cup front bumper, but my understanding is that it is the same as the street nose except for the cooling intakes just under the hood and the hole for the tow hook. I didn't think there was a benefit. Does it have a different lower lip? Does anyone make a seperate add on,lower lip for the 02 cars?

Exclamation

If you want to make that alreay beautiful car even nicer.... add the 030 kit to lower it a little. Will improve the look and the handling by a lot. I cheaped out when I did my boxster and put in the H&R springs - that and a set of wheels made the car look totally different!

Thumbs up

Jason952, thanks! I love my car so much <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" />

Ed Newman, I am still not decide on getting either the Coil over (H&R, FVD, Gemballa) or the MO30, I talked to Gert Carnewal and he said the '02 MO30 is not out yet and I am not sure if the Coil Over system on the market are able to work fine with the '02 C2 weight distribution.

I am a very agressive driver and I took my C2 to Buttonwillow a month ago and my C2 performed really well except the stock susp need to tigthen up a little bit more for high speed cornering.

I definate will not go for the H&R spring only setup as I know this is not gonna work properly and will mess up the handling.

My biggest concern is the springs & shocks rate on these susp system will not make my C2 understeer. I hate understeer and the new C2 tuned very well, pretty neutral handling (still can improve a bit more)

By the way, these are the pics of the real GT3 Cup Car '02 with the bumper from Carnewal. Looks really good on a track car, but too agressive for the street! I am not sure if the one from Gert has the lower lip.

Cool

As much as I like that wing, I am tending to agree that it is too much for the street. Would probably end up with me in handcuffs. I wonder if the front lip is a seperate piece that we could add to a normal 02 c2 nose. On the suspension I have the H&R springs in my boxster and they are awesome. If you want the ability to tune your suspension, check out the GT3 sway bars.
