Was looking for info on putting turbo decklid on a C4S... found more questions than answers!

That said, since this old thread is revived I'll let ya guys know how it works out.
I took the wing of and sanded 2 days ago, had paint done today and am hoping to have it installed before the weekend if I can modify the airbox instead of replacing it with the turbo one (hey a guys a allowed dream )

Wish me luck!!

Cheers

Sid.

Hey Thanks guys!

And yes it's a stock tt decklid (but the custom wing makes it though)
I'll do a short write up on it (new thread) when I've taken the pics of the inside.

Cheers!

Sid.

Sid, aren't you concerned with brake light visibility issues? I notice a lot of American Ford Mustangs doing similar tint mods including some Lambos and it's hard to see their brake lights illuminate during the daytime (especially so with incandescent bulbs).

It looks to me like the paint guy was lazy to tape off and decided to paint over the entire car!

Funny:

Actually I did the brake light and taillight myself (sometimes if ya want to get it done right, you've got to do it yourself) and there's no issues with the 3rd brake lights, they are definitively bright.
The taillights were a different issue though... but for those i wired in the fog lights to work with the other sockets of the taillight (doubling the light output).

You can check out the write-up on it at (post 19)https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...r-stuff-2.html

Cheers,

Sid.
