Does anyone know what the cause of this is... when I unlock my car I am getting the double beep. This doesnt happen when I lock it.

I get it when I lock it. The cause was something not closed/locked etc. e.g. Hood,door, sunroof.

you may have a problem with your alarm or central locking...did you play around with the alarm activations (ie. activating the locking on your key twice in a row quickly to deactivate the inside alarm monitoring) then locking again both manually and with the remote? do you have a cab?...is everything closed and in its rightful place? you may have to have the alarm checked by the dealer because a double horn indicates some fault in the locking or alarm system.
