Default How many multiple 911 owners are there?

Which model? Why more than one? Is one for driving and one for collectors? I am interested to know how many are out there and the reasons? I have a '03 Cab and would love a 993 turbo, 3.6, or a slant as a collectors item (driving once in a while). Would love to see side by side pics if there any folks out there who have more than 1.

Thanks

Slant nose 911s are the most beautiful cars ever built.

I have two Porsche's, but only one is a 911.

986 - Summer/Track Car
996 - Daily Driver

I love 'em both.....can't wait for a third P-Car!!

I had two 996's for about a year.

I had two years left on my 2001 C4 lease when I bought my 2004 C4S Cab. I was able to transfer my lease on the 2001 using www.swapalease.com.

It was fun while it lasted

The 78 SC is a dedicated track car. The 40th is an entirely different animal. Love them both.

Thank you.
The trailer is a Cargopro all aluminum enclosed car hauler:
http://www.cargoprotrailers.com/car_haulers.asp
It was ordered in red (smooth sided, no rivets) for my wife's benefit...it sort of matches the color of the house! It weighs ~ 2400# empty.
It is fully finished, aluminum diamonplate floor/ramp, carpet 3' up on the walls, smooth aluminum walls, driver's side escape door (makes it VERY easy getting in and out of the car).
Here are some other pics of the trailer:

That's been my recipe for success for 25 years, along with buying her another Saint Bernard puppy (don't ask how many dogs she has, her daily driver being a Ford Excursion)...although in the long run, the small green box is cheaper.

i can't really say one is for collecting, one is for driving, etc.
the cup is under rebuild right now - the 356 is a driver and the 996 is my daily driver

911's: 73 E/RS 2.9 Twin Plug, 89 930, 89 Speedster, 97 TT S. Also 60 356 T5 Roadster. (One early 911, one last of early turbos, one modern convertible, one last of air-cooled turbos, one early chrome windshield 356) All terrific and great driving. None daily drivers - I live in Manhattan. Mini S Works package + Range Rover for regular driving.
