boxster red interior care
Recently purchased a 99 996 in PA. 33k miles, Arctic Silver, Boxster Red full leather, M030, sport seats etc. The car is (in my opinion) fantastic and I look forward to many miles of satisfaction. I have a question regarding care for the interior. There are a few minor scratches and I would like the collective opinion on remedying these. I know for other colors (black, tan, grey) there are pastes which contain some dye which effectively covers the scratch. Does anything like this exist for the color boxster red. Any other suggestions?

I got a paste kit for 10 bucks from auto store (pep boys). you mix the colors to get exact match for your interior. There is a company that has porsche interior codes which will cost you more but may be better. I was able to match and repair my graphite grey leather.

I too have the arctic silver metallic and full leather Boxster Red interior in my '01 996. What I use twice a year on the interior is "Hide Food". You can find it at better shops, I believe it's made by Connoly for Bentley & Rolls Royce. It's an awesome conditioner and I've used it successfully on some pretty serious scratches - they've disappeared.
