I work in NYC and commute via train, so I guess my daily driver would be a locomotive. It has been my weekend, long drive (Jersey Shore and Laurentian Mountains north of Montreal), go to pick up pizza and videos after work car. This will be my first winter, not sure how much I'll drive it - guessing GQ for at least a few months. About 1K miles a month over the summer. We have a Volvo XC70 for the family. No interest at all in taking the P car to the track.

Weekends and sunny days. Delivered 6/01 and I have 8,600 miles on her. I drove it from Minneapolis to Seattle two weeks after I got her, though. I'm trying to keep the mileage to about 5,000 a year.

Daily driver and occassional track weekends for the last 3 years. I have about 16K miles with only a few minor problems (CELs...etc), long since fixed under warranty.

My 99 996 just turned 20,000 miles this weekend on the way home from the track. I have put just over 7000 miles on it in 1 year and 4 months of ownership. It has an average of 4,400 miles a year in its lifetime.
She is the queen of my garage during the hot and rainy summer months, but a weekend warrior during the cool and dry winter months. The most I have had to use it on a daily basis is 1 week.
My daily driver Expedition averages about 36,000 miles a year (work is an 80 mile round trip).

Between 12-15K miles per year, daily driver, 15 track sessions per year, 5 or 6 autocrosses per year, snow salt sleet rain and sun. I am at 48,000 miles now.
I should also tell you that there is at least one set of tires per year and one set of brake pads per year. Gas like it is going out of style...

Daily driver. 23rd July to date 6222 miles includes 3380 during 18-day trip round Europe. Expect annual figure will be about 14k.
14k of sheer heaven (hopefully).

My 99 C2 was a daily driver for its first year but now is pretty much a track only car. I'll probably complete its conversion into a club racer this winter and pick up a 930 or something similar for the street.
About 3,500 mile per year.

My 996TT (H&R suspension, front strut-bar, GT3 seats, rollbar, harnesses, Techart short-shifter) is a true daily-driver. Any kind of weather, including snow. No winter storage. 76'000 km (47'000 mi) since mid-May '01. And 16 days on various tracks since March '02.
Greetings,

Mine is my daily driver. We have a Honda Odyssey as our family hauler and my wife's already tired of it. We'll probably swap it out for a Lexus GX 470 when those come out.
I drive my C2 5-days a week and some weekends (after dropping the baby off with the sitter). I'm coming from an E39 M5 and I think it's a great daily driver. It's a little more tame to drive around town, but just as much fun on an open highway, and much more fun in the twisties. I'll probably average 7,500 miles/year.
