Default 2002 CDR220 AUX input? possible??? please help

I have a 2002 996 C2 Cab with CDR-220 without the CD Changer.

Can I add an AUX input??? where can I get the adapter. I know Becker you used to them before.

I think you are in luck, the 2002 is still "pre-MOST" so the Becker unit you have already has the aux input. It just needs to be turned on. I bought the aux kit (wire & keys to remove it from the dash) from becker for about $20 and it included everything you need and really simple instructions. Search for "ipod installation" and I think you quickly find the 800# to call to order the kit.

Great post! So the aux input uses the "phone" input terminal right? If so, you can select between CDC and aux inputs right? This would allow me to continue using my CDC even after I enable aux.

Not sure. But there is contact info for Becker in the link I posted. They are very helpful about anwering questions. If I am not mistaken the CDC is in the aux input. So, it's ipod or CDC and not both.

Yeah, that's what I thought until I was reading about the phone source in the pdf.

If your goal is to install an iPod in your 2002 996, Here is a link to my 02 996 iPod install.

Is there a cable that attaches to the ipod/nano to RCA jacks that bypasses the headphone jack? There isn't one on the apple website.
