Hey Fadz...I just remembered something I heard at a PCA meet yesterday.
If I'm correct there is an X74 suspension option for C2's. A guy I know just had it done and we were discussing it. A third guy said there will be a similar package available for the C4S soon called X73. Might be an option?
This X74 as I was told was 20mm lower than ROW 30 and quite a bit stiffer.
* I believe I have all my code numbers etc. correct but I'm not 100% sure.
Anybody clarify/correct me on this information?

If anyone has it on, a pic would be interesting.

Fadz,
Tuesday I'm having my Euro M030 C4S suspension installed, along with a B&M short shifter. I'll be sure to post before and after pictures. It's my understanding that this suspension will lower the car 20mm in the front and 10mm in the rear.
Has anyone else had this suspension installed?

Well FADZ your car is a ROW model so it already comes lower then US spec cars. If you want to go lower still, you could either go for PSS9, H&R coilovers or the X-73. I never tried the X73 nor so I know of anyone who installed it but I had rides in H&R and RUF's version of the PSS9 and both were great. Make sure u order swaybars for either as the handling will need adjusting. The car with H&R understeered alot and this wasn't corrected until H&R swaybars were instaled.

If one was to go with PSS9 on a C4-S is there a "specific" version needed?
From what is posted here it seems like the C4-S has it's own unique suspension. Not as high or soft as a C2 but not as low and stiff as a Turbo. Does this sound accurate?
If this is the case it should be broadcast to C4-S owners as up to this point I at least was completely confused on the subject of C4-S suspension.
TIA

The X73 for the TT and C4S is not available yet.
They first said it would be released in Jan'03, then it was delayed to May'03.
So far, no sign of the X73...

It's a bit firmer than the Euro M030 setup and comparable to the firmness of a H&R coilover kit.

My C4S is lowered with the RoW springs and shocks (purchased from Gert, there's nobody better for this stuff). It cleaned up the fender gaps nicely and got rid of the ridiculous "nose in the air" look it had stock. Its also still high enough that i dont tear up my chin spoiler too badly on driveways. At that price point I think its just about perfect for mostly street occasional track use (I track it maybe 3-4x times a year). One extra benefit is it allowed me to get one full degree neg. camber up front which really reduced low speed understeer and sharpened turn in. You will have some increased front tire wear but i think its a worthwhile tradeoff...
BTW i also have the Techart short shift and love it, car should come stock like that...
I'll try to post some pics later...
