Paperwork and Window sticker for my car says Guards red however paint code under hood is L84R SC (Arena Red Metallic). No extra charge on invoice for metallic paint.

Could sticker be wrong? How can I tell metallic red from guards red.

uhhh yeah Arena Red is a Maroonish Metallic red Guards red is your traditional RED color.

Arena Red is L84S and L84R. I have an Arena Red which should give you a better idea. (pic attached). What about the sticker under your hood and the sticker in your owners manual? That should have your paint code from the factory! If you bought used and the paint code and actual color of the car is different you should be VERY worried. Post a pic of your car and the sticker and we can solve this one for you.

FYI......if I am not mistaken, Guards Red is 84A and 80K
