This is the best car I have ever owned. It's given me almost no problems since the day I bought it. Runs like a top, has no leaks, no issue of any kind and I still get a huge grin on my face when I'm behind the wheel.
I hope everyone actually DRIVES their cars and doesn't just let them sit. These cars need to be driven!!

DITTO! well, yes i love this car but not exactly trouble free. leaky coolant tank, emissions valve and starter motor but that's it! my 996 is close to 77K and i'm having so much fun with it. tracking it, modding the hell out of it, extra aero bling and even a supercharger on the way, woot woot! i can't believe the numbers of thumbs up i get after putting the aero stuff on. i got a lotta looks from the ladies when i had my boxster, less with the 996 but when you get thumbs up from dudes you know it's from an enthusiast view.

60k and I still like it. I do often think about going back to an amg mercedes though, and do so often. I didn't have a bug to modify it, and just drove the snot out of it. It was nice to remove that whole issue and allocate my time to more important things.
The only bummer was that it had a worm and sector gear steering that got sloppy on center at about 50k, and could not be adjusted out. However, the new ones have rack and pinion - FInally!! hmmm. I think about it. Then I think about how much I have dumped into the car. I guess if I had a decent offer I would probably jump. But it is doubtful that I would get what I want- reasonably speaking of course.
