Default 996 Aerokit Cost?

So, I've been reading alot of old threads here in the 996 forum, and it seems like the general opinion is that someone on a tight budget, such as myself, shouldn't bother getting the '02, even though you all clearly think it is far above and beyond the earlier year 996's.

Anyways, I think the older one's look too much like a boxster. So, how much does the aerokit cost? Are there more than one? What about a GT3 kit? Does anyone have any pictures of all of these next to eachother so I can see the differences easily. I don't even know what the differences are, maybe you can point them all out in the pictures too.

Thanks!

The right aero Kit for the 02 is the aero II kit. I just got mine (OEM) from eagleday.com for $1800 for the tail/lid and $600 for the side skirt. These are both OEM porsche.

here's the side skirts project and the tail is in the pix under my signature https://rennlist.com/forums/996-forum/186650-weekend-projects-done-lowered-and-installed-aero-kit.html

good luck

You can expect to pay $ 5-7k painted and installed for OEM GT3 Kit.
This is mine, and I think it adds a lot to the car.
BTW For sale 03 with 3400mi.

According to the window sticker, it came from the factory with the aero kit, CF interior parts, suspension and stainless steel exhaust.

I think it looks fantastic, and it's just how I'd get mine if I had the money. Any pictures from the front without the bra on?

I think the mk1 style taco wing aerokit is the best on a narrowbody 996, the mk2 always looked a little ricey to me. Aftermarket ones , well look aftermarket. The C4S kit is 6700 from porsche, Braman is going to have it on sale again shortly~3800.

The good part is the oem parts are high quality and need very little(if any) finishing work, probably less than 500$ painted/installed for the C4S version.

Porsche-T where are you in SA? (feel free to PM me if you don't want to post in the open thread). Reason I ask is I grew up in SA and that street in the background looks alot like the street that runs behind the Quarry up to AHHS.....Tuxedo Drive I think? Love that area. Use to live in AH myself.
