Default Jademist '99 996-what do you think of this color?

I am visiting from the 964 forum. I may have a chance at this car and have only seen it on line. I wonder if any of you have a car in Jademist and can tell me how it looks in person.... Thanks for your response!

Then again my fav 911 colors are Tangerine or Mexico blue. (gulf blue is not bad either)

it would stand out in a crowd of 911's and not be an eyesore.

I would keep looking for another car with a different color.

Something tells me it's quite a bit cheaper than your run of the mill polar silver...

I sure hope so because I guarantee you that after a couple of months you'll want to respray that a different color. Ocean Blue metallic would look good with that Savannah Beige interior.

I'm not totally sold on the color, but it has done 88K miles, interior looks very clean, seems to have had all dealer service, apparently passes PPI with flying colors (unintended pun...) and is just $25K. That's why I'm interested... If I get a shot at it, they will let me do my own PPI....Now if it was just Polar Silver or Black, or...? But then I doubt it would be $25K...

If it passes PPI and is really clean then I suggest you price out how much it would cost to respray the car. Then try to get the dealer to drop the price a couple of grand to cover part of the cost of the respray.

Repainting would be around $7,000.

Color doesn't work for me, but depends on if you're buying it more for show or go. $25K plus a few bad boy (not bling) wheels/upgrades might work.
