My neighbor bought a 99 c-2 in black, very clean with about 80k miles last year for $25k. You are overpaying at 25k with that color. I can tell you that there is a c-2 that runs with our local track organizations in that color and it is commonly singled out for being a pretty ugly color.

I'd pass. You will probably regret it in the future.

Didn't realize the color had any affect on how "serious" your sports car is.

Just kidding, of course...
As someone said, get something that makes you turn around and take another look whenever you park it and walk away.

To paraphrase Arnold, you would have to be a manly man to own that car. It's a little like an earring. If a guy is 6'4" and weighs 260 lbs, he can get away with wearing almost anything. I'm not sure that I would even want to be a passenger in that car, but to each his own.

Gee, it just never ocurrerd to me that my manhood would be in question because I drive a "feminine" colored car....

But then it is true that I had never planned to sell it so resale valve was of no interest.

I agree-I like all of those, too!

I think it's a color that would have to grow on you, but I like the fact that it's different. During the early 90's, one of our dealers had a pastel Mint Green (think institutional Seafoam) 964 with $3500 custom grey leather w/mint trim that sat (and sat and sat) in the showroom for a couple of years. Very heavily discounted to make it finally go away. I swear, after continually walking past it in the showroom, it kinda got to grow on me.

This color is MUCH better...
