Yup. Depending on the total miles on the used springs they may have already done their major settling. HOWEVER, let met caveat this with the fact that I am not a suspension expert and maybe one of the guys with experience here can chime in. I would assume the springs settled on the previous car and then maybe expanded slightly when removed but not significant where you would experience what you are. SUSPENSION EXPERTS care to chime in???

Yep, you still need to settle them. Either way, the metal in the spring will release it's memory when it is unloaded. Once you get it back in a loaded state, it will still need time to re-adjust. Just give it a little time. For reference, my sig photo is of my old 996 with H&R's. Looked great.
