Default How to remove those strips on the dash?

I need to replace the 3 pieces of strip on the dash for some colored ones. What is the best way to remove them, they are very tight fit.

I used a solder gun method to remove the strips. Take your new set and match the strip up and find out the location of the screws. use a magic marker and dot the location of the screws. The solder gun will go righ through the plastic. It is a 5 min Job. When you attach the new strips I used hot glue to assure a tight secure fit. This is a very simple DIY job.

Good luck.

I was afraid of the solder iron route as well and just used my own method based on the solder pen instructions. I just started the stip removal at the A/C vent with a scredriver under the strip until it popped up a bit and believe it or not, just pulling it out all the way across was a snap (or shall I say unstrap). Of course, it is not re-usable when you are done but I had the sodler pen NOWHERE near my all leather dash. Not sure if my strips were an anomoly being less difficult to remove with the solder pen method but I was willing to try b/c I realy knew I would screw up my dash.
