Default Bumperettes - a Warranty Item ?

Purchased an 02 CPO'd C2 last month. Factory warranty until 10/1/05.

Right rear bumperette is loose at the top ; seems the clasp is broken.

Will my dealer repair this under warranty? I assume the bumper has to be removed & that is a body shop item.

Thanks !

The bumper does not have to be removed . Who knows if they will cover it under warranty, I know my dealer most likely for me.....

Damn you should have gotten the Bumper to Bumperette warranty! Bad joke... I don't see why it would not be covered. Call your service advisor I bet they cover it.

i really do not find any reason why they shouldn't...even if your car is out of warranty.

by replacing your bumperette you will get this type of after sales wich will make you very happy...(i am pretty sure porsche will do it for you)

good luck....keep us informed...

Huh? Out of warranty means just that.

But this is really a moot point since he is in warranty till 10/05 and should be no problem.

02 bumperettes are screwed on from the back of bumper and I think that requires removal of bumper.

if bumperette is scratched, you probly won't get warranty bc it's caused by collision. if it just came loose, you should be getting that tightened up or replaced if some clip is broken.
