I am now a 996TT owner!
Well, I did it!!!! I picked up my new (to me) 2001 996 TT, Guards Red Aerokit beast!!
2001 996TT Guards Red, black interior.
Full leather (ruffled seats), and I mean full! Ever bit of the interior is covered with it!
Embossed Porsche crest in the seats
Red Seatbelts
CD changer
CF steering wheel
CF shifter and brake handle
AS center console (gonna change this to red)
Bilstein PSS9
FVD Exhaust
Its chipped (unichip) but will convert over to our PSI products after a bit.
Clear side markers
Red bumper plugs!
8500 miles!
Some of you may remember this article (Nov 2003) in European Car magazine. My car was owned by Noel Lee of Moster Cable. He took amazing care of it, as he does with all of his automobiles. It's really cool to have a car with a neat bit of history to it.
100 cell cats from RUF, TRG short tube headers, KKK competition developed K27 (1.6bar) turbos, GT2 intercoolers, FVD exhaust, Brembo eight pistion 15" cross drilled brakes, Bilstein PSS9s, Unichip ecu... all bringing 550hp and 425 tq.
So, now skip to today, what is left on the car is the FVD exhaust, the PSS9 suspension and the UNIchip.
As far as what I plan to do to the car? Hmmm...I'm keeping it the way she is for the moment and enjoying her. The FVD exhaust is delightful with zero resonance, I really like it. When you are on it, it gives you a seriously nice roar! (However I am thinking about EP)
I plan to dial in the suspension and lower it just a tad more, stiffen things up a bit.
And later on, I'll PSI tune it. But, for now, the Unichip stays.

Hey Robyn, nice car and congrats!
Stay with the AS center console, red will be too much and I would rather do the ***** shoe and sidevets in AS as well.
Ciao,
