Default Window problems

I was putting my passenger side window up and I heard a screeching like nails on a chalkboard. When I tried to put the window back up, it would only go up about an inch. It appears that the cable is either broken or has become detached from one of the pullies. My question is: Is there an easy fix for this? Is is a do-it-yourself job? And, how do you get the door panel off if I should attempt this myself?

Thanks!

You'll need to pull your doop pull handle off first (it breaks off at the seam. Couple of torx heads right there, disconnect your door lights to get started..... You'll be doing the old pull and play to get the outer plugs to release their grip and to pop them in you'll need a swift smack "I used the bottom of my fist". When the panel is removed you'll need to disconnect your lever spring and maybe one other thing (I think I'm missing, it's been a while). Once you're in there it's really not to bad, there is plenty of room to work......

Just remember to have a set of torx bits ready before you start.....
