Default The New "." Thread....With Pics!

Made everyone look

Well, I hope to never cross John D. or Jen. However, I am embarrassed to admit I've never posted pics of my car here. So here they are, along with a potential future driver...

Nice Pics. She is a beauty! Thanks for sharing. What a cute little boy! Are the wheels chromed or polished? Are they Turbo Twists?

Thanks guys. I think the boy is a cutie too, but I'm biased.

I'm not 100% sure about the wheels (they were on the car when I got it). I believe they are chromed, not polished, and I'm pretty sure they are not turbo twists. A couple of the wheels have curb rash, and it looks like just an outer layer of chrome with something else underneath. I'm not a huge fan of the polished/chromed look, but new wheels are pretty far down the list right now.

The wheels a Turbo Twists with a chrome paint on them, they're not metal chrome. I had the same ones on my C4. They're a factory option that runs about $3K I think. I don't know why Porsche uses a chrome-look paint instead of real chrome, but not even tire/wheel places I went to had ever heard of doing that.

Could it be that chrome doesn't hold up well in certain parts of the world?
