Default Dead Battery?

Recently, my car only starts if it is "jump started", does this mean the battery needs to be replaced, eventhough the headlights, dashboard instrumentations, and air conditioning still work? (I also noticed that the time clocak on the dash is no longer accurate)

Things to consider: My check engine light and airbag light are on. My dealer, at first said its fine to drive unless both lights are flashing. I thought my check engine light was on due to a problem with my gas cap, but perhaps its a bigger problem since my car does not start unless its jump started.

Thanks,

yup. sounds like its time for a new battery. same thing happen to me about 6 months ago. As for your airbag light. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? The dealer told it was no big deal unless it was flashing? How STUPID! There potentially exists a fault in your airbag system that could result in a malfunction in an accident. Do you want that? Either press them harder or find another dealer/shop since that really NEEDS to be fixed. It may be something a simple as a seat belt part but what if it was a situation that would prevent the airbag deploying? Not a chance I want to take. Do you?
