Actually the swirl marks are gone!
Just finished polishing the "other half" of the P-car, which was both sides and rear of the car. I did the same on the top and front about 2 weeks ago. Used the Porter Cable 7336 and all of the swirl marks that had been made by the previous owner are gone! I was probably the only one that noticed them, but they bugged the HELL out of me!
Here are some pics. BTW, my timing for taking pics sucks. It was partly cloudy while I had the car in the garage to polish it. But as soon as I finished the polishing and sealer coat, it got totally cloudy.

The sun finally came out so I took some more pics. Unfortunately, I inadvertantly re-set the image size on the camera, so these are rather small and are low def.

I also had to do a fair amount of deswirling and descratching from the previous owner when I recently purchased my car. I've go some telling pictures at a web site I'm starting to create at: http://911.m-powered.com and I've more to post once I get the time.
The Porter Cable machine is really quite nice. But it is very "buzzy". I'm sure I'll need a carpal tunnel release if I do another car too soon!
