Hi there,

My C4S with 6000 miles has recently started showing some corrosion on the wheel hub ( not the actual disk- which I know is prone to corrosion).

The car is parked outside (sadly) but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this...doesn't seem normal to me on such a new car?!!?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

The finish on mine seems to be coming off , but not experiencing the same thing. I'll check.

BTW, I'll warn you first (I'm still new here). You're new here I see. Post pictures of your car. You'll get more response once that's done.

Jon, have you been using Wonder Wheels or any other acid based wheel wash - they destroy the coating on the wheel nuts and the hub centres. Drive in "hand" car washes use this gunk all the time and it is too strong! Once they start to corrode it can't be stopped. In my case it was new nuts....

Thanks for that...sounds the most likely answer actually! Am going down to Porsche this saturday to have it checked out......even so sounds strange to me for such a new car!
