Chiro are like every other professions, some are good, some are bad. I see one twice a week since a heli-skiing mishap and instead of cracking my neck (sorry must be a technical term for this) he uses some sort of a rubber punch along my spine. It's a very smooth and gradual adjustment. There has been a few cases (in Canada anyway) where coroner have judge that someone had a stroke after a neck manipulation. Some my advise is to try the chiro but tell him/her not to crack/twist your neck.
The best temporary solution is to crank the seat heater even if you have to crank the A/C to compensate. I find that the 996 seat heaters are way more hot than any other car seat I've seen.
