Sorry to hear about the back problems. I'm 33 and I've had two rounds of back surgery in the past 3 years. (herniated discs both times) Now its carpal tunnel surgery. I guess working with computers since I was 10 had something to do with that. :P Take it easy and you'll feel better soon.

Dan, I've had good luck with chiropractors - just make sure you go to one that does a full exam before working on your back. I mean x-rays, consultation, the whole bit. The good ones will do this automatically, so find out about this before you go it.

Still planning on coming to San Diego? I thought you might bring some of the sway bars you wanted to test out with you. Interested in giving me a killer deal on pss9's in exchange for the sway bar testing? Or is that a combo you're recommending? Let me know...

Thanks for the advice. yeah we will be coming out there LATE friday the 22, going to crystal cove sat morning then over to the show at Qualcomm Stadium. Heading home sun afternoon. I can bring you a set. if you want the killer price on the PSS9, PM me with your info, Name, addy, number and I will send you an estimate tomorrow. If your looking for a track coilover, go with the JIC CROSS.

let me know.

fyi on chirporactors - i see alot of pt's that have been worsened by chiropractors. i'm sure that there are several pt's that i don't see where chiropractors have helped... in any case, it SEEMS that there are some good older chiropractors - some of the younger ones don't know their limitations. take that with a grain of salt though as i'm relatively young myself.

as far as md's and backs, it appears that alot of people will go to an md as a last resort as they are fearful that they will just want to do surgery. this is not true for the most part but there are bad docs as well

do as "every day" says - be sure to get a thorough workup first before any radical treatments are started

good luck!

My Dad had some back trouble and went to an MD who examined him and then suggested that he try a Chiro. Honestly, I've always thought Chiro was a scam but it helped him for awhile. He ultimately needed back surgery but for a component of his rehab the MD again sent him to a Chrio. I'd do my research first and make sure you feel comfortable with the decision you're making.

After hurting mine, went to chiro with trepidation but was sold. It still comes back every once in awhile & I run to the nearest chiro and have had great luck with one exception. I think Lizard1 was spot on - look for one who has been around for a bit and has an established practice.

Feel better!
