Default Opinions on Griot's car cleaning products?

Hi all --

Anyone had much experience with Griot's products, especially car cleaning solutions, chamois, etc.? Any opinions appreciated.

I think the interior cleaner is great. The window cleaner is very good. And the Best of Show wax is fairly good (not the best shine, but very easy to work with, and seems to last).

All their stuff is pretty good, I really like the best of show wax myself.

I have a ton of their stuff and it's great. They have a tip in one of their publications that works very well...in between waxings when washing the car put a little of the best of show wax in the wash bucket (with the water and car wash liquid)...works great.

They have some really good stuff and some mediocre stuff. It all depends on what you are looking for (i.e. shampoos and cleaners are really good…polishes not so much). They are premium priced on everything. They have great customer service and an easy return policy. Many times there are alternative products (or the exact same thing) for less money at other vendors.

Personally I think their glass cleaner and lint free towels are among the best. Speed shine is a good product if you use a carnauba based protectant.

I agree with Bet. Some stuff is good some is just so so. Keep in mind that all Griot's is doing is buying somebody elses product and putting it into "Griot" containers. I Think for what you get and the hassel you go thru to get it, its way over priced and they hype their products a bit to much for my taste.

If you want good stuff to keep your car looking great all the time look at McGuire's products, esp. their NXT line.

Interior cleaner great. Wheel cleaner as good as any. Wash mitts the best. Wheel paint matches my 99 wheels and 04 4-Runner back bumper. .

I found the products I bought from them very cheap (not at all as advertised), but the return process was easy. Where you should go depends on what you want. Check out this site for how to info.:

http://www.carcareonline.com/

and there a lot of folks who swear by Zaino:

Good luck.
