Default Some MF stole my wheel caps...AGAIN!!!

Alright, I'm a dumbass and I parked at the same airport where this heinous crime previously occured. Needless to say, that was the last trip the p-car will be making to the airport.

Some people just have no respect of other peoples stuff

If anyone can point me in the direction of some wheel caps that lock in some manner I'd really appreicate it.

I filed a complaint with the parking garage and, to my surprise, they indicated that they would likely pay to have them replaced. I'm still skeptical though.

The surveillance camera is a good idea. Worth checking out anyway.

I bet you're right. When I was filling out the incident report I suggested that it was an inside job. I can't imagine that a random thief would have hit my car twice but the guy who drives around the garage in his golf cart, hmmmm....

I would tell them you has some serious high end caps that cost some serious money instead of the $200 porsche ones and let them know you are going to file a police report as well. Then see if they challenge you. If they do, what is their basis? Maybe they call your bluff with your own caps!

But....if they don't, then you were compensated for both sets!!!

Some years ago one of the local Boxster guys caught the parking lot security guy stealing his crested valve stem caps.

Bummer. Its like you can't leave your car anywhere anymore. How much are a new set of caps? Will your insurance cover it?

IAH or Hobby?
I would just get some plain black caps, they're only about $60 a set vs. $200 for the colored plastic crests. Either that or the Boothe caps if you want a quality centercap.

The Boothe caps can't be removed unless you take the wheel off first. Top notch quality too. Ask for rennlist discount.

There is NO rennlist discount on the Boothe caps. I will say though that there are excellent quality and really blow away the factory caps. Not to mention they are anti-theft (bolts on the inside of the rim).
