How many MPH to get wing to lift?

That's correct. In order for the rear "wing" to move the pistons must be present. It will extend at ~75 mph and drop back down about 55 mph.

k...that's understandable. I thought it might be automatic, too, but I guess it is just manually adjustable. When I get on the phone with my dealer later today I'll ask him and find out for sure. Thanks.

The aero is a fixed, nonadjustable wing. It is assembled in three peices, if it was one huge peice of fglass it would be less stable. Even if you drive 4 didgets it won't lift.

8 people tell him, and he's still not sure. Hang around here awhile, 99_Carrera, and you'll realize that this board as a whole knows more about Porsches than any Porsche dealer. We are, after all, fanatics about it.
