If so, then I'd think there's an awkward situation in dim light (such as at dusk) when the face is darkening and the markings are lightening, such that you lose contrast and it's hard to read. This is my experience on a VW Passat (dog car).

the way they light them i haven't found any problems at dusk. At night they look great.

I thought you would like to see the alum faces at night. Sorry it's a little blurry. At this light level it has to be a very long shutter speed.

hey mundman,
have you verified and caliprate all needed 'cause the oil, bat and gas needles seem a bit low ...
all needle should be at zero at on ( without engine running )
besides that, they look sweeeeet , I was going to go white alike you too, but change my mind and went for yellows.
Have fun

That's a good point and very observant. The ignition is off as I took these pics. My fuel gauge is a little off but all else is fine. I verified with my handy dandy PDA w/autoenginuity software. Shows me actual rpm, temp, voltage and speed.

Hey Guys,
Where can I get the aluminum rings?
We just traded an 05 boxster that had the aluminum rings - for an 04 C4S that does not - and I think they look pretty good.
Thanks,
Kirk

Bought mine from brandywine for 110.00 - came in a very generic looking cheap package, but the rings seemed ok. In this may's Excellence mag ads: suncoast lists for 149.00 and NR auto (nrauto.com) shows them for 99.00
